Subguard covers the risks traditionally addressed by
subcontractor payment and performance bonds. The
advantages of Subguard over traditional subcontractor
performance and payment bonds are:
greater focus on subcontractor pre-qualification; and
greater control over the claims process in the event of a
subcontractor default.
